Soft Hombres

A través de este proyecto MMP explora su lado suave, comúnmente identificado como femenino. Él colaboró con un grupo de mujeres, hermanas-amigas, para algunos de los boradados y puntadas visibles. El proceso, parte fundamental de cada pieza, se convirtio en un acto comunitario, en donde la conversacion y la solidaridad femenina se entrelazaron con el proceso creativo. Las piezas de este cuerpo de trabajo estan elaboradas con telas y tejidos reciclados, de esta forma, se reinterpreta la funcionalidad y proposito del material.
Through this project, MMP explores his softer side, commonly identified as feminine. He collaborated with a group of women, sisters and friends, for some of the visible embroidery and stitching. The process, a fundamental part of each piece, became a communal act, where conversation and female solidarity intertwined with the creative process. The pieces in this body of work are made with recycled fabrics and textiles, thus reinterpreting the functionality and purpose of the material.
